Meet Our Founder

Lovette Curry, CEO and Founder of Consult Magnolia

Lovette Curry is on a mission to help businesses reach new heights.

Lovette Curry is a strategic HR and operations executive with nearly two decades of experience building the people infrastructure that mission-driven organizations need to grow, lead, and last.

As the founder of Consult Magnolia, she works at the intersection of human resources, organizational strategy, and legal analysis, bringing a rare combination of a legal degree and a business degree, along with real-world leadership across some of the most complex environments in education reform, nonprofit management, and government.

Lovette has advised mayors of major cities, nonprofit founders, and impact investment leaders. Her deepest area of expertise is charter schools, where she has served as a trusted fractional HR leader for networks navigating rapid growth, leadership transitions, compliance demands, and culture building. She knows what it takes to build HR functions from scratch, stabilize organizations in transition, and develop the people systems that allow leaders to lead.

Her work spans compensation design, succession planning, executive coaching, board governance, policy development, and HR strategy. Whether she is stepping in as a Fractional CPO, architecting a one-time project, or advising a CEO through a high-stakes decision, she delivers with the precision of a legal mind and the practicality of someone who has held the seat.

Lovette is currently completing a book on HR leadership in charter schools, the first of its kind focused on the critical first 90 days, alongside a companion CPO Playbook designed for senior people leaders in the sector.

She brings the expertise of a full-time executive, without the overhead.
